okay sooo this is somthing i wrote yesterday about a freind i onced loved

Once she was my everything,
My dear friend, so close and true.
We laughed and cried, side by side,
And shared our dreams, me and you.

But then things changed, our paths diverged,
And time, it moved us apart.
I missed our talks, our little quirks,
The love that came straight from the heart.

I thought of you often, my dear,
And hoped that you were doing well.
I wondered if you still remembered,
The stories that we used to tell.

But life goes on, and people change,
And I found someone new,
Someone who makes my heart skip a beat,
And fills my days with love so true.

I'm happy now, with my someone,
But I'll never forget you,
For you were my dear friend, once,
And I'll cherish the memories we knew.
So here's to you, my friend, who I liked once,
May the winds of fate bring you joy,
For though we're no longer in each other's lives,
