So what we're looking for is "x" which you can just use \(\large A^2+B^2=C^2 \) for So A = 35 and C = 42 Just plug em in: \[\Large 35^2+B^2=42^2 \] \[\large B^2= 539 \] and finally \[\Large B= \sqrt{539}=23.22 \approx23 \]
