jhonyy9:

any idea in this way ? what is a slope,what mean this ?

TheyLuhhJae:

All I know is that the formula is y=mx+b but I'm just confused in general.

jhonyy9:

y = mx + b is the slope-intercept form of the equation of a straight line. do you know this ?

TheyLuhhJae:

I do know that much

jhonyy9:

In the equation y = mx + b, m is the slope of the line and b is the intercept.

jhonyy9:

x and y represent the distance of the line from the x-axis and y-axis, respectively. The value of b is equal to y when x = 0, and m shows how steep the line is.

Uniful3:

y=mx+b

TheyLuhhJae:

So the slope formula would be m=y2−y1 x2−x1 right?
