it all depends how long you mean by fasting. If you're just skipping one meal, then you might be okay, but it's always safe to check with a doctor if you want to do it regularly, to make sure you're healthy. However, it is not healthy to fast for close to 24 hours or more, and you should certainly ask a doctor about it if you think you must fast for that long at any time

you can't go without water for more than three or four days at the most. You can survive longer if you're drinking water, but you should still talk with your doctor because fasting without approval for that long could have any number of consequences besides just hunger.

I eat wtv the school lunch is and dinner is usually some sort of meat and potatoes and some type of veggie

actually.. that was a slogan made by a cereal company to get them to buy their product. and I myself do not eat breakfast all the time and I'm still very fit and I do fast every Wednesday only to make sure I don't gain any pounds by food only by working out every Tuesday and Friday.

if u want to lose weight fasting isnt the best, doin a calorie deficit where u STILl eat is ssential, and working out is important too. but doing harsh diets and fasting at 14 is dangerous and ur still growing so dont worry, plsu u can GROW into ur weight

it depends on how you fast I water fast every Wednesday and work out every Tuesday and Friday and its helped not only physically it helped me mentally too. before I was always eating whenever and whatever I wanted and one day I looked in the mirror and saw myself and realized that the way I'm living my life was not very good so.. i decided to start working out every Tuesday and Friday and also decided to water fast not to long after. And it has turned out very well I'm on the edge of getting visible abbs now.

I'm also 14 turning 15 this June so I think you should go for it. Just make sure not to do it again within a 72-hour period or else it might not be very healthy.

The main danger of fasting is if you go a long time without eating (e.g. more than a week), and you break you fast recklessly. This can cause refeeding syndrome, where your body has a low number of electrolytes (the stuff they put in Brawndo), and it could even lead to a cardiac arrest. That's why if you do long fasts it helps to make sure you're still getting salts, like sodium and potassium to mitigate the risk.
Another thing with fasting that I don't see mentioned much is how it affect your gut bacteria. These bacteria are thought to influence what sort of food you crave. There can be good and bad gut bacteria and fasting might starve some of them out.
I guess another issue is that some medications and drugs require you to be eating food to work properly. Thus fasting with such medication could be harmful.
