To see how I see,
you must first lose.
Lose it all.
Everything and nothing.

It claws at your mind,
At your skin,
At your very soul.
It feels so nice.

The uncertainty,
That is all that keeps you here
With us.
To know that is to be free,
Yet so alone.

You begin to believe
that you're the only one.
The only one who feels
Feels the way you do.

It's isolating,
Cold
Dark
Desperate.

Like a physical pain in your chest
The thoughts don't stop
They hammer away,
Never leaving,
Never stopping,
Always there,
Always with you.

Some may find solace,
A silent,
Contant companion,
They wrap it around them like a blanket,
It keeps them safe,
Alone.

Some aren't so lucky,
You toss and turn,
Never understanding,
Until.
The rope.
