Lol true

lowkey:

a) perimeter is 2l+2w [in other words, add up all the sides in the rectangle] area is l*w [multiply the two known sides] based on this information, we are able to draw some conclusions on how to solve this problem. do you have any ideas?

OLIVER69:

Okay so for perimeter you do 2(l+w) = 2 (94+78) = 344 As for area, you do l x width which is 98 x 78 which equals 7332 For B the answer is Area because you need to fill the inside of the rectangle For C the answer is perimeter because you need the measurement of the outside of the rectangle (I hope I could help sweetie)

lowkey:

b) knowing that the inside of the court will be wooden, would the value of a perimeter (measure of the sides of the rectangle) or area (measure of the inside of the triangle) be helpful? c) the strip will be covered *around* the court, which means that the measure *around* the court is needed. which value is most helpful for this?
