As many know, she had a significant impact on The Underground Railroad, as she herself believed in freedom over slavery. She risked her life rescuing other slaves and served as a spy during the Civil War. Later, she adopted her mother's practice of cooking to fund her travels, enabling other slaves to achieve freedom. I wouldn’t say there were many hobbies that she picked up on, given she was born into slavery. Her early childhood, she took on doing housework as well as tending to children according to here.
