how long does the procedure take to get my tonsils out?? How long will it be when i wake up after the procedure?

D14610:

It honestly depends, when my sister got her tonsils it took around 20 minutes, when you wake up they'll keep you in the doctors to monitor you this can take around an hour or so but you'll be fine for sure.

Their right it does depend, I was out for a couple of hours and they still had me stay overnight.

Mine was because I had a lot of problems with my tonsils, and they would stick together clogging my throat so I couldn't breathe (especially when I was sick). So since I had a lot of problems they wanted me to stay overnight in case something went wrong. (Also apparently someone messed up in the operation and cut part of my mouth where they shouldn't have so)

sllo:

an hour
