HelloItzMe:

Sleep Did you know a chronic lack of sleep, or getting poor quality sleep, increases the risk of disorders? Well, that also includes high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, depression, and obesity. Sleep is a complex and dynamic process that affects how you function in ways scientists are now beginning to understand. Researchers believe that sleep may promote the removal of waste products from brain cells- something that seems to occur less efficiently when the brain is awake. Sleep is vital to the rest of the body too. When people don't get enough sleep, their health risks rise. Also, people who have more disrupted sleep in 30s and 40s may be more likely to have memory and thinking problems a decade later. Sleep is essential to survival as food and water. Without sleep, your body craves to be shut off and restart. For example, a computer. when a computer gets to full, you may have to shut it down and restart it to help it work again. Sometimes, it may be hard to fall asleep when your not sleepy, tired, full of energy, or simply busy. On the other hand though, your body needs it's time to redo, recharge, and be prepared for the next day.
