A good place to start would be the capital, ay french cuisine that is popular in the region. Something that is really helpful is to show why people visit Mayotte or live there! (Ex: Land Forms, Festivals, Architecture, Etc.. ) Good Luck!

Idk if it's supposed to be made in french or english, but if it's like an informational poster, i'd personally make it about La Reunion, my classes went over it a lot so that's my personal opinion, if that helps at all
