Elyse is going to buy an around-the-world plane ticket. She will get to see just one city from each continent she will visit. The following table below shows the continents on her trip and how many cities she can choose from for each continent. Continent Number of cities Europe Asia Africa Australia How many different combinations of cities does Elyse have to choose from?
Where are the number of cities? Or is there none.
europe has 10 asia has 8 africa has 4 australia has 3
Thank you, let me see if I can solve this (Is this statistics because I'm taking that and this is what that seems like)
probs and stats so yeah
Alright so, in order to find the total number of different combinations of cities Elyse can choose from, you have to multiply the number of cities she can choose from for each continent: Ao it would look something like this: Number of combinations = (Number of cities in Europe) * (Number of cities in Asia) * (Number of cities in Africa) * (Number of cities in Australia) Then we actually do the numbers: Number of combinations = 10 * 8 * 4 * 3 = 960 So, Elyse has 960 different combinations of cities to choose from for her around-the-world trip. I think at least ^^
I also have statistics stuff so I get it's confusing :']
fr it is
yeah i got that thx for all of your help
