I know this isn't really a school related question but I need help. So, for anyone who cosplays how do you guys style wigs? I've seen teasing and hairspray all that stuff and I've been trying to style my furina wig (long version) The bangs stayed in place on the head yesterday but after I took it off they fell so I'm not exactly sure what to do (I'm just using hairspray)

zombieblud:

spray them then curl them

urlocalgay:

I don't have a crimper or curling iron I only have a straightener and I can't find it TwT

zombieblud:

Styling wigs for cosplay can be a bit tricky, but with practice and the right techniques, you can achieve a great result. When it comes to styling a wig, there are a few things you can do to make it stay in place. One of the most common methods is teasing the hair and using hairspray to keep it in place. However, there are other techniques you can use as well. For your furina wig, you could try using bobby pins or hair clips to secure the bangs in place before using hairspray. This will help to keep them in place even after you take the wig off. Additionally, you could try using a wig cap underneath the wig to help keep it in place on your head. Another important thing to keep in mind when styling a wig is to be gentle with the hair. Avoid pulling or tugging on the wig, as this can damage the fibers and make it harder to style in the future. Instead, use a wide-toothed comb or your fingers to gently work the hair into the desired style. Overall, styling a wig for cosplay can take some time and practice, but with the right techniques and tools, you can achieve a great result. Good luck with your wig styling!
