a beautiful poem i wrote and to celebrate resurrection sunday :D In the beginning, there was the Word, A divine whisper that stirred the world, From dust and breath, creation unfurled, In the hands of God, all wonders swirled. Through ages past, a story told, Of faith and doubt, of love untold, A journey of souls, seeking to behold, The grace of God, more precious than gold. In Bethlehem's manger, a humble birth, A Savior came to redeem the earth, With love divine and boundless worth, To bring salvation, to all on earth. He walked among us, with gentle grace, Healing the broken, restoring the faith, With words of truth, a saving embrace, A light in the darkness, a guide in the race. On a cross of shame, He bore our sin, A sacrifice pure, to cleanse within, His blood poured out, our victory to win, Through His death, new life begins. But the grave could not hold Him, death lost its sting, For on the third day, He rose as King, Victorious over sin and suffering, In Christ alone, our hope takes wing. So let us lift our voices high, In songs of praise, to the King most high, For His love endures, never passing by, In Christ, our Lord, we find our why. Christianity, a journey of faith, A call to love, to seek God's face, In every trial, in every race, We walk by faith, and not by sight's embrace. So let us live with hearts ablaze, In the light of Christ, all our days, With love that serves, and grace that stays, In Christ, our hope, our truth, our praise.
