no I want my death to be a surprise I don't wanna worry or count down the days
Shadow:
No.
If there's anything I've learned over my life it's that living in the moment and being present for it is the key to life's treasures. That doesn't mean to live hedonistically (for pleasure), but to not be worrying about the past or future when you can only exist in the now.
This kind of information has never been given to the human psyche. We would not be able to handle it. It would take an extraordinarily healthy minded person to not be ridden with anxiety about the time of their death, and that kind of person probably only exists in theory / hypothetical.
If you think otherwise, you don't know enough.

look at or senior mod. being so wise. :)

I wouldn't choose to open an envelope with the date of my death inside. I believe that the uncertainty of life is what motivates us to live our lives to the fullest and cherish every moment we have. Knowing the date of my death would only create unnecessary anxiety and prevent me from fully enjoying the time I have left.

If I did, I would count down the days till the end. No time to have fun in your life if your constantly thinking Abt ur death.

You see, the knowledge of death changes everything. If I were to tell you the exact date and time of your death, it would shatter everything.

why wouldnt I?
Sailor:
No, I wouldn’t.
As much as I would be curiosity, the phrase goes “Curiosity kills the cat” for a reason. My mental health is terrible as is, and I mentally wouldn’t be able to handle knowing when I die. I’d rather live in the moment and try to make my life better and achieve my goals and dreams before I die.
TarTar:
if there is money in it i will :)
doom2284:
definitely not. i would rather live my life in the moment and enjoy my life, rather than waiting for the day i die. this is a great question tho i love seeing people’s responses!
