I would say that it's possible for people to be hypocritical at times, and to expect things from others that they don't require of themselves. However, I also believe that people are complex and can hold seemingly contradictory beliefs or behaviors, and sometimes we may not even be aware of our own inconsistencies. It's important to strive for self-awareness and consistency in our actions and expectations of others, but it's also important to recognize that we may fall short at times.
