Part A: It is either the case that some llamas sleep during the day or that there are no llamas who like staying up late. Part B: It is not the case that any llamas like staying up late and it is also not the case that some llamas sleep during the day.

Can I show you the example my teacher gave for the last one? It was also a propositional statement just a different scenario

~p v q: Some cats do not sleep during the day, or some cats stay up all night. ~p ^ ~q: Some cats do not sleep during the day, and no cats stay up all night.

That was the example she gave me since I got the last one wrong

In the first example, the statement ~p v q means that either there exist some cats who do not sleep during the day or there exist some cats who stay up all night.
In the second example, the statement ~p ^ ~q means that there exist some cats who do not sleep during the day and there are no cats who stay up all night.

Right and this one is the same except with a different scenario, so would it not be similar?

If we consider two propositional statements as:
p: No dogs like to swim in cold water.
q: Some dogs like to swim in warm water.
Then, ~p v q means either some dogs like to swim in warm water or no dogs like to swim in cold water.
Similarly, ~p ^ ~q means there are no dogs who like to swim in cold water and there are no dogs who like to swim in warm water.
