I'd like to request a competition on QC. My idea is some sort of online color wars. This would go on for about four weeks and there would be different colors for different users(an equal amount of users per color). The colors would be randomly assigned not based on Smart score. There would be a series of competitions for different subjects. Obviously, we would have to make these competitions accessible to everybody who would like to participate. I think since there are so many QC users, that you could create some kind of forum for the first 100 or so people to sign up for. I don't have any great ideas for the competitions but I'd like to invite anybody who has good ideas to leave a response. If this can't be done, can a mod let me know so I don't get suspended for spamming or something? I hope we can arrange something like this but if not, that's totally fine. This might be a really stupid idea to be honest, but I just wanted to put it out there. Thank you for your time!

Thank you for explaining! it is a competition where you belong on a color team and you must compete for your team to win. The winning team usually gets a prize of some sort.

I think that'd be really coolio 🤗.

This really isn't the point of the levels on the site.
I get your point, we did a similar competition/question day on Fridays where we summed up the week, talked about random questions, etc.
But reverting to a separate forum for the purpose of this, would go against the no-link policy, as it's a link that's not directly connected to any sort of academic or educational purpose. I.e. YouTube, .gov domains, .edu domains, etc.
Extrinix:
To note, that event got shut down due to spam.

I feel like this is a good idea and would help with the engagement of this site as a community. However, I think it would be best if one of the admins/mods host this event to keep it civil and organized.
Then make it a week long commitment challenge, so everyday of the week, there will be a challenge/puzzle and whichever team won that day, they will earn something. Once each team representative answer that particular challenge for the day, one of the mods can lock the post to avoid spamming. If this becomes successful, then maybe a month long with weekly challenges will be a good monthly event for QC.
I say test it with 3 color teams first with 5 people each to check the feasibility of it. For the signup, it would be better if it is a google form sent by one of the trusted users here (like mods/ambies) to avoid what Zephyr said about the non-link policy.
