ok heads up. when i was 12 i and it was a solar eclipse. i look up and next day i went blind. it took abt 3 days for my sight to come back. so use the glasses bcz they have protection

That's not the case at all. Sunglasses have a range of UV protection, which is what eases your eyes to sunlight. Eclipse glasses, on the other hand, have a filter that's high enough on UV protection along with other items, to block out the parts of the sunlight that can harm your eyes.
