Given the premises and conclusion: Premise 1: All cups have handles. Premise 2: The object is not a cup. Conclusion: The object does not have a handle. Disprove the argument by giving a counterexample. Carrot Quarter Tissue Teapot
I have no clue on this one-
@curriful
Premise 1: All quarters are made out of 90% silver and 10% copper (also known as clad btw :3) Premise 2: This object is made out of zinc coated with copper. (this is a penny btw) Conclusion: This object is not a quarter. it's best to look into the given argument to find a flaw in it before making a responce. In that one it's saying that since it's not a cup, so it doesnt have a handle is false since multiple things can have a handle (i.e pots and pans).
I think the answer would be D a teapot, but I'm not sure I don't really do well with these ones :']
wait i thought we could use any -
No we have to use the one it gives-
alright, so which one of the options have a handle but isnt a cup?
a teapot technically-
good, now try to make a counter argument with it. like how i did with the quarter :)
Oh we don't need a counter argument or anything, we just need to pick one so for this one it's teapot :>
oh, then good :3
Could I possibly have some help on a few more?
sure, js post them
