Just a start of a short story tell me how it is and I'll add on to it....

I woke up one night to silence, very dead silence... I sat up, and winced as my head was throbbing and my heart was pounding against my chest, I knew that something was off. I got out of my bed and the first thing I’m met with is dizziness. I walk to my door and open it, I freeze as I see a shadowy figure at the end of the hall I rub my eyes. It's gone.
