i think it is hard to pinpoint exactly how many soviet troopers have died because i think it could vary depending what source your looking at. but anyway i think it is estimated that the Soviet Union has suffered significant casualties during the early months of the war, the Germans invasion of June 1941. about millions of Soviet soldiers and civilians lost their lives during the conflict.
