Thought and Feedback on this poem I wrote Oh Mother, What secrets linger in your gaze? By the fireside's gentle blaze, I sit in silence, yet seek the maze Of thoughts hidden in your beautiful eyes. Oh Mother, Where did you find your fearless heart? In whispered tales of old, or in quiet acts of art? Tell me—oh, please impart— Where you found the courage that sets you apart. Oh Mother, This is the verse I need to say, My love will stretch far beyond today. Endlessly, deeply, come what may— In my heart, your strength forever will sway. Oh Mother, You owe me nothing, for all you've done, Your love, a countless debt I've proudly won. My gratitude deep as the setting sun, On and on and on—until my days are run.
