@ultrilliam, please add DM requests to QuestionCove - similar to Discord DM requests, which would allow users to DM mutual friends, without the distraction of spam accounts trying to invade your DMs and privacy. DM privacy should be a feature that is toggleable within QC's settings, although the DM request feature should not be automatically enabled upon user joining. Yes, I do know that Ambassadors and Moderators do try keeping the peace around here, although we've all seen incidents of spammers around here. I believe that the DM request would fix that, only allowing "friends" to DM you. I do also realize that this would be a big change to QuestionCove's message system, although it would be a good one. Again, this is only a request, although I believe that many people would petition for this, so for the sake of QuestionCove users, please add this feature :3. (@curriful wanted me to add that 😔)

True, although think about this - when you're active in All Subjects and a spammer joins, do you think that they're going to ignore you? Most of the time, they pick on you via DMs, whether that's sending messages straight up to the character limit, or just destroying your DMs entirely. I think that this would be safer this way, and there would be less of a chance of someone messaging you with tons and tons of random stuff that you may not even care about.

This should definitely be added, blocking people is an easy solution but sometimes it doesn't always work. Lots of people make new accounts and keep bothering people and the block button isn't the best solution... if we had message requests we wouldn't have that problem of people making new accs, please please add thisss
