through cracked concrete,

It dances on the edges

against the backdrop
of your pain.

Laughter is the healer,
the light in the darkness,
the reminder that
even in the depths
of despair, happiness
is never far away.

So let it bubble up
from deep within you,
let it wash over you
like a cool summer breeze,
filling your soul
with warmth and light.

For in the end,
it is laughter that
will conquer all,
that will chase away
the shadows of pain
and bring you back
to the light of happiness.
