None of these really make any sense on how they describe theme - as for A "Looking around and saw no one" has no tie into a theme. as for B. And what it says - it's more like the ~Overall attitude of the character~ as for C. I think that might - just be it but again it works into the ~character attitude~ as for D. That's an action and technically doesn't work into a theme either. So I am unsure on this.
