Subshilava:

Does anyone know how to make paragraphs longer for an AP class to keep it formal :(

Sailor:

If possible, break things down into paragraphs and explain it in detail. Don't go overboard or be repetitive, obviously.

DorianIsHere:

Just make the sentances longer, or explain a certain topic you are writing about, into more detail

Ngl making longer sentences could result in run on sentences

DorianIsHere:

yea my bad. dont make it longer. run on sentances can ruin your whole topic, making it repetitive

Subshilava:

When I put longer sentences she puts it as a run on and I loose half of my points I’ll try breaking it down

DorianIsHere:

yuhh

Luigi0210:

Okay but why do you want to make it longer? Is there like a word minimum or something? Usually you would want to get straight to the point and avoid fluff in writing.

It says a paragraph but she won’t say how long she thinks a paragraph is so it’s hit or miss with the grades

Subshilava:

I can’t win in this class but I’m trying

DorianIsHere:

lol

Luigi0210:

That's because paragraphs vary in size based on the topic and supporting details. Some can be short, others can be lengthy. It just depends on the topic/context. As long as there's some kind of structure, it should be okay since there are no specifics given.

HotPockets14:

you can make it longer by writing more or...

hellokitty265:

hellokitty265:
