bigjoe88:

The area of a square is 9 centimeters squared (cm^2) If the sides of the square are doubled in length, what is the new area, in centimeters squared, of the enlarged square?

Alexis1415:

So, The answer is : \[36 cm^2\] The area of the square is \[9cm^2 : 3\times3=9\] So the length is 3 cm. The side length : \[3\times2=6\] So the new area is : \[6\times6=36cm^2\]

XLynx:

Imao what dude just multiply it by 4 sqrt(9) = 3 side length is 3 then (3*2)^2 = 3^2 * 2^2 9 * 4 = 36
