Nucleotides are basically the building blocks of nucleic acids, including DNA and RNA. DNA is a nucleic acid composed of 'nucleotides', this is called Deoxyribonucleic Acid. DNA is made up of monomers, otherwise known as nucleotides. Which combine with other forms of nucleic acids. I hope this helps!
