I would say first congrats, a writer is a wonderful aspiration!

Some tips I would give;

- Start writing regularly 
- Read other books to get more ideas
- Make sure you know how to correct your grammar and punctuation
- If you have an audience in the future, make sure to know what they want to read
- Commit yourself to writing or publishing
- Find what makes you different from other authors (find a book style)
- Expand your vocabulary 
- Make sure you get feedback, maybe from friends or family. Always a good place to start to know how good your writing is in other's eyes.

Just be confident in yourself and in your writing, you will do great!
