Aren't christians just worshipping a dead person that probably has no connection with god? We don't even know if god is real, what the heck are we doing here? I feel like worshipping a religion is just wasting our live's precious time. Am I wrong tho?

I think some people need religion to have some kind of moral compass or guidance? I mean I do not see anything wrong with it as long as they do not force their beliefs on people. Not only Christians, but any religion in general. It also gives a sense of connection in the community I think.

hmm that's the thing, to say that it is wasting one's time is really subjective. It depends on one's purpose in life.

I'm not trying to offend anybody, I'm just asking.

Hm, Okay.

I’m a Christian, it’s a faith. Faith is burying any doubts. It’s hard for me to believe it happened too but I’m working on it. He’s not a dead man. And that isn’t who we worship. We worship God, Jesus is his son.

I in a way, am the same. I don't mind if other people believe in religion, it's not bothering me, but some questions just have no answer. For example, how was the universe created? We know that it was the Big Bang, a ton of different elements mixing together, but what created those elements before hand? If people default to believing in a god, or many gods claiming they created everything, then what created those gods? It's kind of like an infinite loop. Hence why people default to religion, because it helps kind of ''solve'' those problems we don't know about. If any of this makes sense-

your the one in the wrong this type of question is simple you answer what you feel is right but this person is asking for the point of it but I'm confused too with the religion as there is science is behind is then people said God created the earth but I don't believe in any even tho I'm Christian but to some people God died for our sins and to some who don't believe I actually curious on how they would explain
