TarTar:

What are your thoughts about college?

arrivhn:

even though I'm not in college just be yourself and make new friends and have money

OppStoppax:

I think you start saving up for college right now, so you can have enough for the years and you wouldn't have to take out a loan.

OppStoppax:

Also, don't take all them classes at once, Because if you fail one more than twice, they will put you on school leave or wtv it is.

OppStoppax:

Also, focus in college and take notes. But uhm college is just more discipline than highschool. And it really helps to stay true to yourself, maybe have a few friends a small group, that would support you through your college experience.

OppStoppax:

But that's just my advice.

TarTar:

You...well i did plan on going but after my family pulling my coattail it made sense to go the other route although I'm not counting it out just don't think I'd go

OppStoppax:

Oh, well college isn't for everyone.

TarTar:

Amen

Luigi0210:

Here's the thing, at this point, college isn't for everyone, primarily because of costs. So only go if it's necessary for whatever career you're considering. Another thing, Experience > Education (in most fields).

OppStoppax:

My point exactly.

OppStoppax:

Me, I went to college to be a lawyer.

OppStoppax:

In most cases, you can go to a community college to get all basics/pre-reqs out of the way before committing to a certain career path. And you can also take some elective classes to get a taste of what things could be like in that field. Community colleges tend to offer better education than Universities anyways since they're smaller and more focused on students.

TarTar:

True 🙏🏽

hannahj:

awesome. You should definetly keep the idea of going in your head. You will have such a bright future! I think college is a really good thing honestly..

luhbabyliyahh:

I'm not in college but I think it should be good for you can get you places get you a good job and stuff like that but my college is free so I don't know about saving money

luhbabyliyahh:

My college is already paid for

Alexis1415:

Make sure if you are planning on going to college, you know what profession you are desiring for, college can be very complicated depending on what you do, as well as more schooling than others, just make sure to be prepared, this offers new experiences and further opportunities to widen your eyes to what you might want in the future. I also would say good luck, living on your own is hard but worth it.

Ferrari:

You can't get in without the money, unless you apply for scholarships based on strong academics, sports talent, etc. Also research the schools that you're thinking of so you don't just pick one cause it looks cool

somnium:

simply put, nah.

Niaa:

Im in college. Most of these people say that money is what u need for college. Money is the least of your worries. I registered for FAFSA and they paid for all of it for me. As a student, the bill isnt your responsibility. Id say work hard. Teachers dont just give you good grades. Its a whole different ball game from high school (im in both). I have a professor who gave me a 3 page paper of words i cannot say in his class example, they them their there they're. Work hard, do what your teachers expect, and you shall succeed.
