The first few weeks were a whirlwind of adjustments. Lily had to get used to a new school, make new friends, and adapt to living with Evelyn. It wasn’t easy, but she tried to keep an open mind. Evelyn was always kind and patient, going out of her way to make Lily feel welcome.

Despite her best efforts, Lily couldn’t help but feel a bit like an outsider. Her father worked long hours and often traveled for business, leaving her and Evelyn alone together most of the time. Evelyn tried to bridge the gap, inviting Lily to join her in various activities, from baking cookies to planting flowers in the garden.

One Saturday, Evelyn suggested they spend the day together at the local farmers’ market. Lily hesitated but agreed, figuring it was a good opportunity to bond.

The market was bustling with activity, filled with colorful stalls offering fresh produce, handmade crafts, and delicious-smelling food. Evelyn chatted with the vendors like old friends, and Lily found herself relaxing in the lively atmosphere.

“Would you like to pick out some flowers for the garden?” Evelyn asked, gesturing to a stall bursting with vibrant blooms.

Lily nodded, her eyes scanning the array of flowers. She picked a bunch of bright yellow sunflowers, their cheerful faces reminding her of happier times.

“Excellent choice,” Evelyn said, paying for the flowers. “Let’s plant these when we get home.”

As they walked back to the car, Lily realized she was starting to enjoy Evelyn’s company. Maybe, just maybe, this new life could work out.

this is random, but girl if you really enjoy writing stories, it be cool if you found an artist who draws good and then at the end yall could do webtoon..... it be so nice..... more viewers and ppl would hear your stories more

Lmao u good N yh I draw aswell so I usually do th front cover sho but atm Im js working on writing the chaps. once I'm done I'll work on the covers

yeah its actually a good idea... and sure its better if you finish writing your story more... im thinking of doing it, prob next year except my art isnt that good, but i think finding the right artist who would want to work on webtoon would be a good idea.... anyways have a great day girl... wish you luck on your story!
