Are meteorologists usually right when they have those movement predictions for hurricanes?

I am pretty sure most of the time there right, tho there are always times when it could change without them knowing.

Yeah I remember a category 5 was supposed to hit Florida in 2018 and everyone was freaking out and then it just went off the coast and turned right instead of turning into the U.S

yh thats y im saying most of the time there correct but there's times where it supposed 2 happened but it don't. It don't mean there wrong it js means like things changed yk?
