After a few hours, they managed to get the car running again and continued their journey. They finally reached their destination: a secluded ranch owned by one of Alejandro’s trusted allies. It was a sprawling property, surrounded by high walls and guarded by loyal men.
"We’ll be safe here," Alejandro said as they pulled into the driveway. "At least for a while."
Emma looked around, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. The ranch was beautiful, with lush gardens and a large, inviting house. It felt like a haven, a place where they could finally catch their breath.
As they settled into their new home, Emma and Alejandro continued to grow closer. They shared their dreams and fears, supporting each other through the challenges they faced. Despite the uncertainty that still loomed over them, they found strength in their love and in their determination to build a future together.
