Please learn or look up box-breathing. I've learned this through my therapist actually. Basically, you'll have to imagine a square: - Start inhaling through your nose as you follow left side of the square for 4 seconds - Hold your breath as you follow the top side of the square going to right for 4 seconds - Release your breath through your nose as you go down from top to down of the square for 4 seconds. - Hold your breath as you follow the square from right to left for 4 seconds. Then repeat the steps from the beginning until you calm down. Deep breathing, over-breathing or slow breathing might worsen the attack, so the main key is to find a breathing rhythm to tell your body that you're in control.
