How do artists color eyes to make it look like it's shining.

You know, like Gojo's eyes or something like that.

For me I like to erase a little part or I just don't color the area I need it in

use a medium blue and a light one, use medium around the edge, then highlight that with a darker blue at th edge again, then white spots, and lightening in some areas, and some darkening in vertical strokes, but like in a circle of ykwim, irs hard to describe, but I hope tht helps
