I'm not sure what the average British citizen would want for Germany after getting bombed by giant airships, but there would probably be different opinions. Some might want to hit back, while others might prefer a more peaceful approach. It's a complicated situation with lots of different viewpoints to consider.

German Zeppelin raids over Britain had made WW1 personal for the English. Attacking civilian targets was expressly forbidden in war, and Germany broke that rule when it sent massive airships over English cities and bombard them. Aerial bombardment was a new element to war and the German airships were a terrifying sight in the English skys. Airflight was a relatively new concept and England had no answer for these airships for a time. Helpless English citizens could only hope that the German bombs land in the street and not in their homes. How do you think the average British citizen would want Germany treated after being bombed by giant airships?
