How do i bring more sadness to my poems?

If you want to bring more sadness to them I do have some advice,

- If you use strong language to express the sadness it will pop out more.
- Especially if you incorporate a lot of vivid imagery, this will give the reader more details for sensory which can convey it more thoroughly.
- Personal experiences really make a better influence on people, since they might relate to it on a personal and deep level. 
- Most people like to sound more vulnerable in their pieces or really show their feelings on a deeper level.

There's a lot of things, but these are the main ones I think of when it comes to bringing out the sadness more.

hm getting into more detail of what the sadness is about like if it's about heartbreak how I usually do it is telling the reader why there heartbroken
