On fields of green, where heroes roam,
A tale of underdogs, made their home.
BYU's Cougars bold and bright,
Face Alabama's Tide, in a fight.

The Crimson hordes, with strength so true,
Crashed forth like waves, anew.
But BYU stood firm, against the tide,
With hearts ablaze, they took their stride.

Their helmets shining bright as gold,
They clashed with might, their stories to be told.
The crowd held breaths of anxious cheer,
As Cougars clawed and fought for victory clear.

And then it happened, oh so sweet!
A BYU touchdown brought a treat.
The scoreboard showed the surprise,
BYU beating Alabama's mighty guise.

Echoes loud of "Cougar Power" rang,
As joyous fans their voices sang.
For on that day, under Utah skies,
The impossible became reality high.
