I told aeon to make a poem about why school sucks.

School's just a prison, day after day,
A drudge of routine, in a world that's gone astray.
Wake up early, rush to the door,
Another monotonous cycle we endure once more.

The teachers drone on and on they say,
But what about our dreams? Are they just swept away?
The homework piles high like an endless sea,
And grades are all that matter, not creativity.

Recess is a brief escape from the grind,
But even then, there's social stress left behind.
Cliques and bullies lurk in every corner deep,
Making it hard for some to find a peaceful sleep.

The cafeteria food's a sad excuse to eat,
A meal that's more like punishment than treat.
And don't even get me started on the tests and the stress,
It seems like our minds are just mere vessels, not at their best.

So why do we go? To learn, they say,
But what about our freedom? Do we ever get a say?
In what we want to learn, or when it's time to play?
Nope! The system's set in stone, day by day.

School sucks! Is that too harsh a word?
School sucks... maybe it's too true,
A prison where creativity and dreams are few.
The system's broken, but we're forced to comply,
And wonder why we even bother, asking ourselves "Why?"

The memories made are often painful and grey,
Mondays dreaded more than a zombie's last day.
The stress is real, the anxiety too,
Will I ever make it out? Or am I stuck in this loop?

So let's rise up! Let our voices be heard!
Let's break free from this system that makes us feel blurred.
We deserve better, we deserve to be free,
To learn what we want, when we want, wild and carefree!

But until that day arrives with a mighty roar,
We'll suffer through the grind, and hope for more.
More autonomy, more passion in our hearts,
A chance to grow without being torn apart.

School sucks... but there's still some good to be found,
In teachers who care, in friendships we've profound.
So let's hold on tight to those moments so bright,
And fight for change until the dawn of night!
