who was in control of the ancient Greek cant use Google since they are most likely wrong
I think that back in ancient Greece, each city had its own way of doing things. Like, Athens was all about democracy, while Sparta was more into oligarchy. These city-states pretty much did their own thing, had their own rules, and ran their own show.
In what time period?
i am pretty sure it refering to before it became ancient
There was the Minoans, and then the Mycenaeans succeeded them. This was before the city states of Sparta, Athens, etc.
After the fall of the Mycenaeans there were the Dark Ages as well, where nobody was in control specifically, just communities and tribes. Then in the Geometric and Archaic ages, they started to build the city states transitioning to the classical era of civilization.
