I was someone different in high school. Now that I'm in college, I let everything and everyone that hurt me go. They, in essence, defined who I was. Now I ask myself; what's left? I mean, do I return to my roots? Do I restart my whole life? What is there left for me? What type of person am I ALLOWED to be? Just a few things I've been wondering to myself lately.

Do I return to my roots? You left those people behind for a reason, your boundaries were clear then why would you blur them again on purpose? Do I restart my whole life? Well what does restarting your life mean to you in this case? What is there left for me? A whole lot, it's only college, you have a lot of life left to live What type of person am I allowed to be? Allow is an odd way to put it, you can be whoever you wish without interference (Unless it goes against the law or something of the sorts)

adrianluvvsyouu2:

What do you mean by "What person am I allowed to be" Are you worried about the pressure of others because of the decisions you've made (cutting people out of your life) or are you worried that without those people in your life, you don't know what kind of person you SHOULD be? Are you implying that they've molded your perspective to the point where independence feels foreign? Just some stuff to think about
