One day I'll rework the backend to make this possible so it doesn't completely destroy/impode the entire site if an account was deleted

You can't delete an account off of QuestionCove, however you do have the ability to ask staff members to suspend/ban your account indefinitely, or at least until you email QuestionCove asking for your account back...

This site definitely needs a revamp, there are so many things that need fixing and features that are missing. As someone who understands the backend, I can see a lot of room for improvement Keep up the good work, and I hope to see these changes soon!
