I keep getting 202.8 m as the perimeter and 1321.5 m^2 as the area. and it says it's wrong.

dgreer4:

Can anyone explain how to solve this?

XxDevilxX:

For the perimeter, you want to add up all the sides of the shape. so it would be 27.5+17.4+26.2+44.3 = ? for the Area you want to multiply 1/2 by the perimeter and the apothem, which i believe in your problem the apothem would be 23.2 m. i hope i am right and this helps.

XxDevilxX:

ohh wait, i think i got the area wrong, i believe the area would actually be (17.4+44.3)/2 times 23.2
