In shadows deep, where silence chills the bone,
I wander through the darkness, utterly alone.
A constant ache, a weight that never yields,
In the haunted corners of my mind, nothing’s healed.

He hovers close, this boy who brings a spark,
Yet in his gaze, there's confusion, deep and stark.
Just moments of solace wrapped in a fleeting embrace,
But pain lingers on, leaving no trace of grace.

Through metal doors and sterile halls, I’ve roamed,
A soul imprisoned, seeking somewhere to call home.
Medications dull the edges but do not erase,
Each pill just a reminder of this endless race.

I carve my grief into my skin, a map of despair,
Every line a story, a cry, a silent prayer.
God, why create a life so burdened with strife?
These thoughts swirl like shadows, whispering, “End this life.”

Friends weave their words like fragile threads of light,
Yet, “You’ll be okay” becomes an echo of the night.
Tired of the mask that hides my fractured soul,
Tired of pretending, tired of losing control.

What if tonight I slip into that abyss,
Where silence reigns and pain no longer exists?
No happy endings written in my story's ink,
Just the haunting question: Will I find peace, or will I sink?
