In life, we often come across Many friends, like petals of a rose Each one adding color and light To our days, making them bright But sometimes, as seasons change Friendships too begin to rearrange We drift apart, paths diverge Leaving behind a sense of loss, a surge Losing friends can be hard to bear Like a wound that refuses to repair Memories haunt us, moments shared Now scattered, like ashes in the air We wonder what went wrong Did we not listen, were we not strong? Or was it just the hands of fate That led us to this somber state Friendship, like a fragile thread Is easily broken, easily led Into the web of misunderstanding Leaving hearts bruised, souls demanding But in the midst of pain and sorrow We must learn to let go, to borrow Strength from within, to move on For life goes on, the sun still shone And perhaps, in the course of time We'll find new friends, a new climb For every ending is a new beginning A chance to grow, a chance at winning So let us cherish those we hold dear For losing friends is a poignant fear But in the end, we'll come to see That in losing, we find our destiny.
