You didn't end up being a fighter A tragedy You've always been a quitter Your desire Lacked gravity You cracked under pressure One bite, you're taking shelter Time it always tells, truth told itself And what I found is I'm better off, better off Better off, better off With you gone Didn't measure up, measure up Measure up, measure up With your talk Now words out on the street You couldn't keep up with me Was slow down or watch you leave So now you're gone
"I'm better off, with you gone. You couldn't keep up with me, so now you're gone." I completely felt that. I felt the pain in this poem and I thank you for posting this Andrew. I'm always here for you as you have been for me. Remember that. 🤍
amazing
thats deep
this is a good poem and i like it so far
the rhymes in this are varied from most other rhymes that people use, 'gravity' and 'tragedy' are more obscure words that wouldnt be used as commonly. very good combinations in this, keep it up! ^^
