A broken heart lies heavy,
like stone in my chest,
the echoes of laughter fade,
leaving silence that screams,
guilt and shadows drink the light.

I sit alone,
wrapped in the cold arms of night,
tears flow down like rain,
each drop heavy with memories,
each sob a reminder—
of love gone, ouch.

The world keeps turning,
but here I stand still,
watching colors slip away,
as joy turns to gray,
and dreams crumble in my hands.

The wish to escape—
to vanish like a whisper,
to let the pain dissolve,
but no easy answers call.
It drags me deeper,
like a shadow in the dark.

Yet somewhere beneath the ache,
a flicker whispers,
that broken things can heal,
and hearts can learn to beat again,
in time.
For even in the depths,
hope can find a way to grow,
slowly, like a stubborn sprout,
pushing through cracked earth.
