Question

Here's another one of my poems:
In the shadows of my history, where echoes softly tread,
You stepped into my brokenness, a light where I had fled.
With gentle words and open arms, you held my fragile heart,
You showed me love could conquer all, a brand new place to start.

You listened to my stories, the scars I tried to hide,
With every tear you wiped away, you stood right by my side.
You helped me sift through memories, the pain that felt so vast,
In your warmth, I found the strength to face and heal my past.

You taught me how to love again, to trust and to believe,
In every glance and soft embrace, you helped my heart retrieve.
The confidence that slipped away, the light that dimmed inside,
With you, I’m learning how to shine, no longer forced to hide.

Each day we build a brighter path, with laughter as our guide,
You’re weaving threads of hope and joy, with you, I take the ride.
For in your arms, I’m whole once more, my spirit learns to soar,
You are the love that heals the wounds, forever, evermore.
