A Whisper of Doubt: Written by me..

In the quiet corners of my mind,
A whisper lingers, soft yet unkind.
“Was I a mistake?” it softly sighs,
A question wrapped in tears and goodbyes.

In shadows, I wander, lost and alone,
Tracing the echoes of a heart made of stone.
I search for the light in a world that feels cold,
Wondering if love is a story untold.

Each smile feels borrowed, each laugh out of place,
In the mirror, I search for a familiar face.
Yet all that I see is a flicker of doubt,
A voice that insists I should’ve been out.

But in every moment, beneath all the pain,
There’s a spark that reminds me I’m more than my shame.
For even a flower that blooms in the night
Can find its own beauty, its own path to light.

So I gather my courage, I take a deep breath,
And remind myself, I’m not tied to regret.
In the tapestry woven with joy and with strife,
I’ll stitch my own story, my beautiful life.
